I still dont understand the logic of putting that poma where they did...why not run it up the part of swirl that isnt even used anymore? Racers can ride up the RH4 and then they spend the rest of the day on the upper part of swirl and then they dont have to close the trail for racing, the racers do...

Ski Windham did this many, many years ago. After 1-2 pm it became counter productive as some guys were betting beers on who could clock the highest speed of the day. For most it was gonna be their last run anyway.
