Re: Friday, Feb 16 - Killington report …

Jeeze. Was thinking if going to K as I know SRT and CQ4 run fridays. Glad I went to Pico. Summit chair ran smooth. There were some really good turns and some really bad turns. Stay out of the shallow and don't bottom out on the coral reef and the turns were silky. Upper and middle pike are snowguns ...

I agree. I've had between 97 and 100mm waisted skis as daily drivers since the 2014-2015 season

Re: Expansion

The snowmaking capital certainly isn't Pico even with double the pumping capacity for this year... I was there this past weekend and the only summit trail they hit was 49er. Can't remember the last time Upper KA, S71 and Pike weren't covered. I don't get it... They made snow on upper KA this season...

Re: Is Killington for sale?

killington's one of powdr's cash cows. would doubt they'd sell it especially w the long awaited village apparently becoming a reality unless they have some debt payments due and desperately need the money. Been saying this for a long time. I know it's a capital-intensive business, but with the traf...

Re: Closing Skyship

Imo, the condition of the Northbrook storage building should be addressed. That thing looks terrible coming up stage 1. Huge pieces of siding mising as well as soffits and fascias. I'm not expecting it to look perfect or even far from, but it shouldn't look like it's one moderate gust away from coll...

Re: Hannah Soar - Hometown Hero

I didn't know Olivia was KMS. Does she ever ski SS spring bumps? I've never seen her at K. Love this video she did with Deb Armstrong. https://youtu.be/vmPKZ2xFTGQ?si=rX672reg5xo7pDaN Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk They both moved out west in their early to mid teens. Olivia trains out of Ste...

Re: Do you trust the Skyeship?

The only lifts that are trustworthy are the Northbrook quad, bear chair and snowdon triple. The rest have some sort of issue or another it seems.
Maybe CQ4 as it had quite a lot done to it this offseason

Re: Thursday 12/28

skied the afternoon. the golden went down around 2:15. running on backup to get everyone off. not sure if/when it came back on-line. meant more b slope & 49'er laps. just a relaxing, low stress couple hrs at the place no one should go. We were on that chair. That was a soggy 25 minutes. The cha...
