seems expensive but good for sal. maybe it's apples and oranges and it was pre-covid but the highline lodge right across the street sold for $450K. an inn w 13 rooms, dining room, bar, game room etc. Even though there were quite a few pgrades when it became it's latest incarnation, that place neede...

That zipper on ole superstar that goes..
...then doesn't as it doesn't just melt out. It ends in a melt out. Love the mandatory grass skims. It gives the trail character.
But those bumps were awesome - small, round and direct.

Re: Spring Shrinkage Schedule ?
I get that the K1 can access all of the canyon and most of snowdon, therfore they only need one lift, but with the peak lodge being done until summer, why not run bubble>CQ4. Certainly would be more direct access. There's a lot of schools on spring break next week. If it's just superstar that would ...

Re: Spring Shrinkage Schedule ?
It's not at all uncommon to have K1 and either Canyon or North Ridge open the last weekend of April. It wasn't uncommon for a long time. That seems to be changing. Last year they went to Supe only on Monday 4/24. I have doubts that they will change their plans this year, of all years. The place is ...

Re: Spring Shrinkage Schedule ?
The last K employee email that went out said K1 and RH until Sunday April 21. What it didn't say was probably nore important than what it did. It did not mention closing dates for needles eye chair, north ridge quad, snowdon bubble or canyon quad. In the past, skye peak express has gone weekends onl...

Re: How Many Days? 23-24 Edition
I needed 16,700' vert today to hit the 1M mark for the season. With me yapping, skiing slow, slow snow and various other elements I only got 15,600 leaving me 1100' shy. It's my day 89 and I wanted to get this done within 90 days. It's the first time I hit 1M in 13 yrs. I'm not skiing again until m...

Re: Tuesday 4/9 report
Thats awesome. I need to retire. Best I have is 1.6 mil vert for a flatlander 40k for 40 days? 1.6M I'm only good for 20k/dy on the high end. After that I get pretty unfocused. I tried to do 30k this season and called it at 28 because it just seemed pointless. My kids can do 15-20k in three hrs wit...

Re: Tuesday 4/9 report
Do not know this guy, but nice touch. He's the man that set the all time vertical record with 6.7M vert feet in a season. I didn't know the man, but I have a story about him. The third weekend of May 2018, I'm skiing superstar with friends, and this guy is yelling from the lift. I'm like okay, weir...
