Re: Mountain Green Sales?
I'd get out too. Congrats! But in this nutty world - if they ever get it fixed ( IMO they won't because it's a herculean task ) - that's cheap real estate at 600 bucks a foot next to the village ( see Stowe ). Stowe is over $1,000 a square foot. Aspen is $4,000 a foot off the mountain a half a mile...

Re: Mountain Green Sales?
when did the assessment commence collecting $ from owners? when is it scheduled to end? (10 years from commencement?) what other items would you, or the board anticipate coming up in the next 10 years? seems to be a fair # of units on the market right now (25) - any idea how many total units in the...

Re: Banf In April
My boss skis Sunshine all the time (that’s the best of the three). What do you want to know. April is generally good. I have been there in mid March a few years back and it was quite good

Re: Ski width and late-in-day killington “sand piles”
Width is only one factor. Also important are flex profile, rocker (especially at the tip), and overall shape. And most importantly is skier weight and build. I am only 5'6" 145 lbs, while an all mountain expert skier - I prefer a narrower profile ski - to me a Brahma 88 (14 m @ 165 cm) is a on...

Re: Ski width and late-in-day killington “sand piles”
I still prefer an 88 underfoot - Blizzard Brahma - at 14 m in a 165cm - it’s great on hard snow and gives me enough float for everything else -

Re: Saturday 2/10 Report
I would say that ROTD was whatever run you were on - everything skied great and the crowds were not bad at all. Around 2:30, the snowdon 6 was ski on - no line.

Re: Mikaela Shiffrin Fan Thread
Yup, that was me! I moved from sitting with Merissa to just over one aisle to the left to stablize against the hand rail and to be away from Merissa's jumping up and down.Captain Hafski wrote: ↑Nov 28th, '23, 10:12 Nice Shot - I think we were right next to you !!

Re: Mikaela Shiffrin Fan Thread
Unreal - Way to Ski it Like a Girl !! Not to take away from Petra [second run about a second quicker than anyne else, except for Mikaela] and all the other athletes. The last three were all incredibly quick = Petra's run was amazing, which made Mikaela's even more amazing. I took 150 shots from the...

They were exhibiting at the Boston Ski and Sports Show this past November - good friend of mine that runs the skitalk.com site in Tahoe has a lot of the new jackets and pants. Almost bought a jacket out of nostalgia - but nothing beats my Fly Low hard shell and Fly Low pants!

Re: sunday 3/19 report
i am sure it was better today - but since I endured 25 runs yesterday and saw the trees swaying at Trail Creek and temperature was 16 - I decided I had enough of Eastern technical skiing for the weekend!

Re: Saturday delay, 3/18
I must be nuts - I stuck it out for nearly 25K feet. Toured the mountain looking for the best of the worst and then would lap those runs until I would search out for something else. Best snow was cruise control, followed by upper bunny buster, bittersweet, great northern, and middle header. There wa...
