IKON not wait for you to go home

I do not welcome our IKON overlords. Not sure how soon the announcement will be but it’s coming.

Re: March Scan-A-Thon

Trying to push the skier visit numbers. Begs the question “why?” yeah, I wonder if this generates legit visits that could generate revenue or just locals who drop in for a scan. It simply generates “skier visits”. The more skier visits, the greater the value at which they can sell. All of Solimano’...

Re: Parking Violation Stickers

The whole story: Threatening to tow paying customer’s vehicles and defacing them with a sticker? Absolutely classless. Terrible look Killington Resort and Mike Solimano. To be clear, not my car and I didn’t park there. It’s far from clearly marked as a prohibited area. It’s not a prohibited area. It...

I did not get a sticker but it’s the Subaru parking at Ramshead.

March Scan-A-Thon

Anyone receive an email yet regarding progress? They said you’d receive an email for each milestone you hit. I hit the 3rd milestone today and no email yet. Just curious. Gotta get me that Yeti.

Re: Is Killington insolvent?

They didn’t even have the lights on in Ramshead today. Yes, it was a super low turnout day, but not even turning on the lights in a lodge is a terrible look.

Re: Outer Limits is Neglected

OL Needs eyes on it. People don’t know how to get there. People only ski what they see and that’s primarily what’s under the lift. Normally I want reserved terrain but in this case, a bump run needs traffic to get bumped up!

EXACTLY! Neglected. SPE does not replace Bear Quad just as Skyeship is not a replacement for Needles. Southridge and the Canyon should run daily, as well. Not very Beastly to not run important lifts.

Outer Limits is Neglected

OL used to be Killington’s signature run. It’s now an afterthought with limited snowmaking, a short season, a lift that hardly runs, and ghetto infrastructure.

Will Killington drop The Beast moniker?

They are clearly no longer The Beast and their operations lately are distinctly not Beastly. As other mountains surge ahead in almost all categories, it’s comical they they still use it.

Has Mike been neutered by POWDR? Is Tait just incompetent? Have they just given up?

Re: SkyeShip Gondala > Number of busted chairs..

I rarely ride gondolas in general and definitely avoid the death trap that is Skyeship. Rode it last week and the cabin doors didn’t have windows. They weren’t broken they simply weren’t there.

That area is broken without Needles Eye.

Re: Is Killington for sale?

I sure hope not, if K was unlimited ikon imagine what weekend crowds would be like. Agree 100%. I’d rather Killington be independent without any mega pass access. I’m just trying to figure out the reason for this years operational and infrastructure sh*t show and preparing their finances for a sale...
