Re: air service from NYC to Killington

How about just a train that can get there in under 4 hours from NYC? Eliminate local stops between Albany and Rutland on the way to BTV.

Then offer a shuttle bus from the Amtrak station.

Right now, the train takes 6 hours.

Traffic back to NYC

Anyone travel back to NYC today? How bad is the traffic? Are most people staying the week?

Just wondering when we should leave today.

Trails by Xmas???

With Xmas a week away, how many trails do you anticipate by the holidays?

I recall Bear being open by Xmas. Doesn't look it this year right?

I'm still hopeful but its looking grim.

In February, they'll start traveling south for outdoor tournaments again. So when did the sacrifice begin? I assume your b...

Re: Whistler

We have been to Whistler about 5times. Its a great place. You dont need a car once you are there. Many places charge per day for parking, so keep that in mind. As for ski school, its a mad house. Make sure to go there the day before your ski day to check in, get equipment and sign forms. Otherwise, ...

Re: Season Snowboard Tune

Coming from Bear, it seems like Black Dog makes the most sense.

Anyone have experience with them?

How much is a tune there? Can you switch out boards?

They arent open yet for the season.

Thanks.
