Before snowboarding, skis were straight, skinny planks. They've come a long way in 30 years, from sidecut to rocker to width underfoot, and most of that change was inspired by snowboards. This morning they were checking reservations on the access road but later (around 10:30) when Skidork went back to pick up my son's girlfriend, he said there was nobody there checking. Just a guess, but it was probably way too dangerous for employees with road conditions to be standing where people...
