We got our 2nd shot this past Monday. Show up on time in Middletown and had the shot in about 30 minutes. Had to wait for another 30 due to my allergy from being stung. Radio ads in CT warn that only residents of CT can get the shots here.

Re: Opening Day Contest 2020
Oh, what the hell. Going with Nov. 11, Veterans Day. Never been close since Solomano took over, but has a chance with all the other thing opening up late. Is this the "wait and see" wine party post?

Re: What the heck is going on with the USPS?
For nearly a decade I was out with the Air Force (SAC) I never used my AF address to get my ballot. I contacted the town and they sent me my Absentee ballot. Fill it out and send it in. Unfortunately too many people take advantage by delaying returning the ballots so the votes do not get counted. No...

Re: Trump Presidency

Re: Snow in June?
My nephew and his wife moved to soda springs. Some great pics of heavy snow storms stacking 5 or 6 feet on the cars. He loves it, wife is getting tired of the snow.

Snow in June?
Have to find a link, but friend in Torrington, Wyoming reported snow the last few days, mostly up the Rocky Mountains. Nearly a foot in Utah.
So, am I the only one that noticed this?

Re: Its time to open uphill travel.
I've been called a lot of things, but discrete has never been mentioned! I also think I'd want to do more than one lap once I was at the bottom. Is it bad that I had just looked up the next full moon? stealth hiking by moonlight sounds pretty discrete (and pretty awesome) to me. Summit county used ...

Re: Lawsuits Against Vail & Alterra Over Covid 19 Closings
I thought Vail, Aspen and others closed mid April due to Forest restrictions. Can't be chasing bears down the hill when they are just awakening and HUNGRY. A-Basin is typically the last area standing and Mammoth in CALI .

Re: $229 Refund for Killington pass holders
Should I ask about a refund, adjusted for days I could have skied, on my Senior pass? Just asking. BTW, for the 15 or 16 days I had on the hill it works out to be about $14 to $16 dollars / day. NEVER MIND.
