Re: I am going to Sunday River this weekend!!
That is why SR has been making snow this week, along with a fresh 2-3" from mother nature last night and more in the forecast tonight. They're getting ready for the British Invasion. I hear some 2100 skiers have opted out of Killing because of their decision to not make snow and have made plan...

Re: Killington Tickets = Less Value
That's what I get for taking a couple of days off from this place -- oh, the things you miss... Am I reading this right? That unless you have a season pass, your day now starts a half-hour earlier? That can't possibly be right. Can it? Next season, instead of starting at 8:00 am on weekends and hol...

Re: Killington Tickets = Less Value
It's what happens when you have ops people and bean counters calling the shots. Killington is down by about 25% since POWDR showed up. The state of Vermont is even with skier visits so those people simply went elsewhere. It's really sorry to ride the Canyon quad and look at the rocks and ice on Dow...

Re: Saturday 3-26-11 early report...
FIRM yesterday. Some woods had 2-4" to play with but that was few and far between. Lower O was sketchy at best. Skiiers right line was more ice than snow. Add in the rocks and I could have used an ice axe. I can't believe it was open to the public. They groomed Jug and Breakaway as well. Skiie...

Re: B team got lost off the back today
That's exactly what I said. I don't think any responsible parent would allow their 10yr old go off on their own. Dumb parents.jimmywilson69 wrote:why are 10 year old kids skiing alone in the first place!!!!

Re: B team got lost off the back today
My wife and daughter were at the base of Rams Head on Sat afternoon at about 3:30pm when two boys no older than 10 approached her. They asked her if this was Killington she replied yes you're at Rams Head. Evidently, they said they were skiing at Pico on Summit Glades and got lost they were worried ...

Re: Demo's or decent rentals??
Hello, so my 12yr old son has outgrown his ski boots, literally he can no longer put them on. I don't want to have to buy him another pair until Oct-Nov as his feet will continue to grow this Summer. So rather than having him use Killington rentals, I was wondering if there's anyplace at Killington...

Re: Tuesday Report
Cooler than I expected and a little breezy as well. Conditions were firmer than the past few days and fairly fast. I was out for about an hour and a half until maybe 12:45, doing mostly Bear and Skye. Nothing very soft, even at the base of Bear. Some pics http://good-times.webshots.com/album/576964...
