Re: Timing of Killington Forward
clearly whomever made these sketches hasn't ever been to Killington. I don't really see Joey Jersey and New York Nicky enjoying whatever the f*** is going on in that photo...

Re: Timing of Killington Forward
if that is true its beyond silly... They're proposing a different monstrosity in an already developed area not cutting down virgin forest and starting from scratch.

Re: Superstar chair
Agree adding the needed things to the Needles base to make this happen is akin to they types of things Killington's staff could do in a summer. I would think the bigger thing with Skyeship is it would need to be fully retrofitted or replaced to be able to accommodate downloading. I'm sure it can dow...

Re: Superstar chair
I was told when I was there in March by someone who claimed to used to work there that the SS replaced was scheduled for this year, until the party who was going to by the lift backed out. AS has been said on here somewhere, FIS hates Tower 3 location and the lift crossing. I can't see them really r...

yeah give the K1 a break. you can still get over to SkyePeak via the top of the C4. If they are having any slopes open on the backside of Skye.

Re: Mountain Green Sales?
It wouldn't suck if Killington actually got the Steamboat or Deer Valley treatment from a lift perspective.

Re: SkyeShip Gondala > Number of busted chairs..
well that's something I never thought of... Hard to think they make enough $$$ to run 2 gondolas and 2 lifts. but maybe they do.
You are correct though, they could collapse the bike park to operate off of skyeship only once things start happening in the basin.

Re: SkyeShip Gondala > Number of busted chairs..
even if making snow or getting natural snow to the base of skyeship becomes unviable in the future a gonodola could be used to shuttle people to and from Needles. This is the exact setup that Breck and Telluride have. It needs to be remain a gondola and it should be refurbed/retrofitted now.

ok Wasn't sure if they had got into the "ownership" game or were just private management as you stated.
