Re: SkyeShip Gondala > Number of busted chairs..
It did go to the peak 93-95 whatever the name of it was then. At least a couple of those years. I still remember doing a faceplant coming down that trail near the bottom! LOL and going back up on the gondola to the peak bleeding and going to the bathroom to clean my bloody face. Do you not remember...

Re: SkyeShip Gondala > Number of busted chairs..
There really wasn't much at the time going down to Route 4. No singletrack. Maybe parts of juggernaut and great eastern from what I remember? I have to see if I can find a trail map from back then. I'm pretty sure I have one somewhere. Doubtful they'll revive that gondola for biking or scenic rides ...

Re: SkyeShip Gondala > Number of busted chairs..
They used to use the skyeship for mountain biking back in the 90's when it ran to the top and before the K1 gondola was built 96-97. Then they stopped using it after the K1 gondola was built. Used to be the Killington double and skyeship. It was fun riding all the way down to the base of Skyeship. T...

Re: Mountain Green Sales?
Who voted for these imbeciles that are on the board at MG? I'm on the board at my condo development and the owners would shoot us if we came to them with sh*t like this! It would never fly. Of course, our dev is tiny compared to MG, but still, we would never dream of pushing something like this. You...

Re: Mountain Green Sales?
Bear units had demand at 1.4 to 2M, for 2.8+ seems a tough sell. You can get in to Spruce Peak at Stowe for near those prices with way more amenities. They are built to order, not on speculation of sales. The potential tax bills are enough to cause indigestion. Will the asset bubble burst before vi...

And it's horrifically loud.
Glad I don't own a $3M dollar house down there.........

Re: Uh oh...Jay Peak owner pulls a fast one on EB-5 investors
The state tried to get AIG to pay and they said no. Really? Shocking! Dumbass morons in the govt. So not a penny comes out of the pockets of Ariel Quiros, Stenger or any of the other a-holes responsible? Glad justice was served!

Re: Operational Failures
I was there this past Saturday and Sunday, quite a few lift stoppages on K1,Skyship2 and Superstar. Not sure if I have been on a lift ride this year that didn't stop . . Yeah, stoppages on weekends is 100% guaranteed! The best is the 6 pack. Stops at least 3 or 4 times each trip. The best is when s...

Re: $16+ for a beer?
$16 is insane! They'll keep charging it though and many people will keep buying it. I guarantee it. I'll just go back to my condo at the end of the day and have a beer. Craft beers are the biggest ripoff too. I'm not a big craft beer fan. I'm fine with just a blue moon or similar.
Re: Expansion
Seems like that isn't happening at least for tomorrow. I'm not sure what happened, but it seems like a bunch of trails are half finished, rather than focusing on some that could have been finished. You can't know that from the "Snow Report" that's had the same canned text for a week. Ther...

Re: Opening schedule for the rest of the mountain
Here's a question for those of you who know the mountain better. Based on previous years, what should I expect to see open by next Friday (Veterans Day) and the weekend that follows? North Ridge only or top-down skiing? I'd be driving with my kids for 7.5 hours, so I'd need to set some expectations...
