Re: 2020 Election
It's pretty clear that the Republican goal is to legislate from the bench because their views are losing popular appeal and elections are becoming more difficult for them. That had been the Democrats’ playbook for many years as they couldn’t get much of their agenda through Congress. The shoe is on...

Re: 2024 Election
Pretty solid analysis from a pro-Republican operative. His take is Biden is quite unpopular and the only reason he has a shot is that a majority of people find Trump personally distasteful even if they agree with him on policies issues. He thinks if Trump tones down his personality that he increase...

And who'd have thought from his resume that I'd actually think Johnson was doing a half-way decent job? Bar is set pretty low right now, no? He's benefitting from that a bit! House Speaker Mike Johnson to bend the knee / kiss the ring. House speaker to attend trial as Cohen takes stand again https:...

In the late 1970s there was an old wooden T-bar at Pico, the location of which I can’t recall. The wood was in such bad shape that it actually snapped and broke while my ex wife and I were taking it uphill.

Yes, the Romans literally killed Jesus but they were merely following the wishes of the Pharisees and the mob. The Jews were responsible. However, that was 2000 years ago. T oday, there is no grudge against Jews by most Christians, just as we don't begrudge Germany and Japan for what they did in WW...
