Jay was doing a great job keeping the line moving. When he took a break they had another J1 worker that was overwhelmed by the math sending up quite of few empty chairs. Controlling a lift line is a skilled job.

Re: $16+ for a beer?

Price for a Fiddlehead was $13 at the Peak Lodge Today. If you add a 25% tip ($3.25) then the price of a beer is $16.25. Life is not cheap.

Re: fast track pricing

We have been paying Killington for years to guard our Bay 1 parking spot from the riff raff. Love front row parking and head of the line short cuts. Being a Jaded Local has its rewards. Controlling the seating at the end of the Peak Bar is the last free activity. Some on here may be tempted to buy a...

Re: Opening Day?

Reflecting back 29 October 2016 - Day started with the K1 gondola on hold for most of the morning. We started to hike up the mountain on the chance that the Northridge chair would run. Snowmoblies hauling the lift operators pasted us on Great Northern. Handful of thrilled skiers had the Northridge l...

Been a few years without lift serviced Oct turns. This season may break the trend.

Gathering on Kent Pond

The local Killington community came out to remember Barb Wood with a sunset paddle on her favorite little pond. Best known for her amazing photos, love of kayaking and zest for living life. Longtime Killington employee many know her from the Grand Hotel owner services job. She passed a week ago from...

Re: What trail is this at Killington?

Half the trail is normally groomed as they use the trail to move groomers between the resorts. The snowmobile tour company use that trail to get top of Pico. Hammering snowmobiles around Killington after hours is a blast. Highly recommended.

Buddy - The Dog Mayor of Killington

The Killington ski community mourns the loss of Buddy as he crossed the rainbow bridge this past Monday. Ronzoni set up a memorial at the 802 Bus at the cooler concert on Saturday to pay tribute to a 4 legged Killington legend. A true free range dog Buddy has been greeting Killington skiers every mo...

Re: How Many Days 22/23

122 Days - Grateful for every day that I could ski as I sat on the sidelines for two months in the middle of the season recovering from eye surgery. Snagged a 100 club hat for the eleventh year in a row. Wrapped up the season at Mammoth on May 31st. Killington 107 Mammoth 3 Palisades Tahoe 2 Alpine ...
