The left hand routinely doesn't know what the right hand is doing at Killington. The website, app, guest services, etc., constantly never seem to have the same information on hand and often contradict each other. Makes getting the right answer challenging... that's why this place is E-ssential!

:smash i Those early Powdr years were sad. I spent May 1st 2010 at Jay, skiing the Jet pod. It was fun, but a long way to travel to compensate for Powdr lameness. Finished 2008 at Mt. Snow at the end of April. that they were! i closed that season and the next (or previous) at jay. a large killington...

speaking of the '6weeks early' past, i remember hiking SS on may1 2010 because the early powdr regime closed everything the previous week. we hiked up sky/bitter to wall-to-wall coverage on supe. to add insult to injury, we were harassed after we skiied by k security, who told us we were tresspassin...

^^ yup, that all went out the window with covid.
the ski club discounts, mobil 2for1s.
even most smaller areas charge over for a hundred a day mid-week.

^^ then they'd have more terrain to groom/maintain...and would need to keep runout viable. more effort $$ they clearly don't wanna expend. even if it would make their spring passes thaf much more attractive in terms of trail count/miles of terrain etc.

time to break out the skins...and get some walking in.
