That's interesting about the D lift. When that was installed at Hunter in the 60's it was a revolutionary idea - a triple chair. Some of the defunct Hunter lifts were definitely pretty worn out by the time they were removed. The A lift to the summit is certainly a candidate. I have a chair from the Z lift. That lift was really falling apart when it was replaced by the Zephyr. The current mid-mountain lift (D) is very old. It ...

The new top station may need to be pretty much where the current one is. When Hunter replaced the original Sunlite Express they refurbished it, updated the terminals, and moved it to the west side.
