Re: Asking for a friend
Just be ready for high prices Mass retail is high, Maine retail nearly half the price, Vermont will fall in the middle is my guess. Local sharing farmer culture has erased the cost for many. Depending on which MA town that you are buying it in your paying a 20-27% sales tax. The state gets their cu...

Re: What's the latest rumor on the Brewfest this year?
Never been to the K brewfest, are they strict with tickets? How many beers does 15 tickets get you? I've been to local brewfests and getting beer without tickets was never really an issue. Especially if you sent a pretty girl to get the beer. Yes they are strict with the tix. And some beers require...

Again, if no one is enforcing the quarantine rules, then they are just words. Whats the point? Either way, our crew of MA/CT mtb will continue to come up every weekend and ride until someone stops us.

Re: Vail Resorts Announces Winter Operating Plan
Killington isnt following that now for biking regardless of what their website or state of VT wants. A bunch of us from Ma were just up there and most of us were from red county's. We all pre-purchased passes online and booked reservations without issue. i dont see how they will effectively regulat...

Vail Resorts Announces Winter Operating Plan
The current quarantine regulation states if you’re in a yellow or red county, 14 day quarantine or 7 days and a negative test. If you book in October for Christmas week, plan on following the procedures or don’t plan a vacation. Personal responsibility. If the rules change, then they must be follow...

Re: Hermitage to be liquidated
Especially when the initial buy in was like $60,000-75,000. It actually might make things financially more viable in the long run as the Bankruptcy Court might discharge or restructure some of the debt to make it work. It's a clear title. NO debt. Thats nuts. The bank lost big on that deal. Nevermi...

Re: Beer reviews and recommendations
Refrigerated beer can easily last 3+ years, temperature swings and uv exposure are beer killers, not an issue in the fridge. Sorry but I completely disagree with you. Well maybe commercially produced beers can but craft beers your lucky to get 3-4 months out of them. The hops break down quickly and...

Re: ? For the DH bikers
Is it a 29er? Keep in mind they don't allow 29ers at Kton, they won't let you on the lift with it. 26" or 650B wheel size only. I'm told that this is because some of the rocks are too big and pose a threat to the larger wheels. You're an idiot! you can run a 29er...no ebikes or fat bikes on th...

Re: Occurred to me today that the Skyship
The reason Sunrise was abandoned is because it was so far out of the way and the lift was a 20 minute ride, making it very underutilized. While it was never going to achieve its full potential without Parker's Gore, Otten was too cheap to replace the lift which might have made it viable. I still re...
