Because it's retro and adds to the old school theme. But seriously I have no clue. It's also interesting to note that previous iterations of the map have not had such markings, suggesting they're more of a mistake than anything intentional.

Shouldn't this be moved to the politics section on here? It's getting kinda annoying when I want to see actual Killington related stuff on here and all I see is a bunch of 2 year olds arguing.
