Re: Why has BMMC turned into a KMS children’s event
Completely agree, KMS kids regardless of age shouldn’t be competing. At least 3 of them on the men’s side made duals, taking spots from other “amateurs”. Where do they draw the line? When half of the afternoon duals are 12 and under KMS kids? Not that most of those in contention can be classified as...
Superstar
How's it looking these days compared to years past?Haven't seen or heard much about it and haven't been up this year yet to see for myself. Are they going to make it to June or even attempt to??
Re: BMMC 2017
Is it a free for all to grab a spot in the morning? Yes. Most occurs on snow, and spots are first come first served. Thanks! I'll get there early then. I'll stop by the kzone site if I see it. Pretty sure that we need a volunteer to bring a donkey. If you get that covered you will be the rookie her...

Re: BMMC 2017
I'll be skiing in this for the first time. For the mogul challenge veterans- how does the tailgating work? Is it a free for all to grab a spot in the morning?

Re: Ratings of unmarked
I guess you didn't realize that most members on here think these are their own personal stashes and that the mere mention of the names will somehow make them more obvious to find than just seeing the tracks after a few inches of snow... I mean cmon. Most of these are already skied more than on map g...

Re: Looking for a freestyle mogul coach
First off, reset your expectations just a little. Watch a lot of bump skiers. Watching helps in between coaching sessions. There is no one set technique. You may evolve towards one style like what you see you want to emulate, or a combination. Similarly is there is no one style of teaching. People ...

Re: Listen to Lindsey
I echo Shortski's remarks. One root cause of the challenge is the incompatibility of the snowboarders stance to a skier. Boarders have a blind side on their back that skiers don't. Because boarders don't have ski poles to push off to start, they will do everything possible to keep going at all cost...

Re: MOUNTAIN BIKING AT KILLINGTON - DEDICATED THREAD
I tried mountain biking for the 1st time yesterday and had a ton of fun. Really liked the blue and black trails off of k1 and down through Skye peak. No idea what the trail names are but we crossed the Stash a few times. Was not a fan of the trails on snowdon. They had the race yesterday in that are...
R*in
What's with the asterisk?? I get its bad word for this sport but is it really necessary? If the killington website doesn't shy away from using it why should we? Is it superstition? I was in the lodge this year talking to a friend about the forecast which was for "r*in" and some woman liste...
