Re: Science Rant, Not politics: Can CO2 cause "Climate Chang
All I can contribute to the self-driving car argument is that I hope it actually does happen in my lifetime. As a person with a visual impairment that prevents me from being able to drive in the dark - it sure would be nice to get in my own vehicle when I want to go out to freaking dinner or to a co...

Re: Killington’s historic farmhouse turns 200
Just wanted to point out to all who don't have time to read the article that they are having a community open house with tours on Sunday, July 23rd from 3-6pm at Mission Farm. They are setting up Josiah Wood's Tavern - as it was 200 years ago. Here's the last bit from the article: The afternoon fest...

Re: Post your puppy (Dog/Cat/Other) Pics
Thanks! Here's the cat... He's a complete mush. Loves belly rubs. A Rutland County Humane Society special - got him 3 years ago at 7 years old - hopefully he'll be with us for at least 10 more years. The last two cats lived to be 17 and 18, so fingers crossed.

Now this would be interesting http://www.mynbc5.com/article/epa-chief-scientists-should-have-robust-climate-change-debate-on-tv/10295129" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; If this happens we should put Sgt Eddy, Rogman, Mr Moose, Woodsrider, ANGUS and myself in an empty room (...

I'm loving that Ori Pei! OMG she's so freaking cuuuute!!! Actually, they are ALL freakin awesome.
I'm dogless right now, but my cat is really cute. Can I please post him up here?

Re: Beer reviews and recommendations
This is pretty exciting news from yesterday! If you like European style beers it is well worth a drive over to Littleton, spend a day skiing Cannon, and have dinner and beer at Schilling: https://www.instagram.com/p/BWYFuBUF_st/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; https://www.be...

I concur! The gin menu looks outstanding ! Can't wait to sample it. It's always best practice to let a new restaurant work out the kinks for about 6 months before you set foot in the door or pass harsh judgement on the service, so maybe by the new year all will be running smoothly there. Prices do n...

Re: What book are you currently reading?
That's a very fluffy dog. I read somewhere (wish I could credit and quote) that when you get a puppy they are like child like- youth, curious no fear. Then they grow up fast and eventually pass you in maturity. When they are old the dog looks at you like an old wise person looks at a younger one. D...

Re: What book are you currently reading?
Here's a picture of my dog Tiger hiking a couple of weeks ago. The Thursday before last I found a lump on him looking for ticks. Took him to the doctor the next day. Then went to a Vet oncologist and he has cancer and it's spread. He has a month or two to live. He's a smart dog. If you call to have...

Very cool - somebody I know knows this guy and has skied with him. I can only hope I can make it another 50 or so years on the slopes!!
