Re: Timing of Killington Forward
The photo of Pico on page six of the linked document seems to show an outline of the interconnect.

Re: Only Superstar Quad After this Weekend!
The closing down to just supe with all that snow out there can't be good for next year's spring pass sales. I agree, but it doesn’t seem like they care. 24-25 K-tickets are available already, and they are $139, another big price jump. Probably indicates that day of window tickets will have a simila...

Re: SkyeShip Gondala > Number of busted chairs..
I saw Mike and bunch of other executive level looking folks waiting at the mid-station for an empty gondola cabin. Looked like they had 5-6 in their group, and by the looks on their faces as we went by, it seemed they had been waiting considerably longer than they expected for an empty cabin to come...

Re: Treezy? (intro to glades)
I like twister better for ‘easy trees’ it’s higher up the mountain, and the snow is usually better up top, then down by treezy. I also think that using timberline, and dipping into the Squeeze Play trees from there allows an easy exit if the conditions are not favorable. Wait for soft, but not grabb...

Re: PSA - Regarding DTL Products "COMPLIMENTARY CHILD/SUPER SENIOR LIFT TICKET
Seems this could be a once a year thing like the waiver, they could take a picture and put it on the actual pass, then validation could be done at any lift when the youngster or oldster first scans for the day.

Re: Selling 2 K-Tickets (SOLD.. moderator can delete)
I also have a few K tickets that I would like to sell. I’ll sell for cost, $116 which includes the discount for buying a bunch of them. Please PM me here.
Maybe the mods can rename the thread to something more generic? So we don’t have a bunch of K-ticket threads.

Re: Timing of Killington Forward
My hunch would be they are planning to work around the current act 250 laws, and not reapply if they can help it. Some big changes to act 250 are being discussed. https://www.vlct.org/news/testimony-regarding-changes-act-250-and-planned-growth-area-designation - allowing municipalities with duly ado...

Re: Timing of Killington Forward
Proximity to the lifts is what drives rentals prices, so many buyers will want to be located as close to the bottom lift terminals as possible. While being on a ski trail is actually more desirable in many ways, unless you are directly able to ski onto a green trail, the ski in/out benefit is lost o...

Re: Wednesday - 1/24/24 More Lift Issues
Please someone correct my math, but the way I calculate it, with 22 lifts, if one is replaced every 3rd year, they will maintain a 66 year old lift age average. It would take a lift replacement every other year to eventually get to a 44 year average lift lifespan. Overhauling lifts complicates the m...
