checked the web cam... a few die hards there today getting their final "stoke" in today on what is left of the bottom plot. looks like final melt will be july 4. that is my pick.

thanks for the update bb. no surprise. i believe only a matter of time now before we hear from powdr/ mr. solimano with respect to delays on the new KBL/ any other planned projects @ K, and its impacts on the World Cup in November.

thanks for the update, brownman. therein lies the problem... the distancing aspect just was not happening, anywhere. even at our beloved K, I check the webcams once in a while, dreaming of being there myself. almost every time, i see more tracks, and folks skiing/boarding down, especially at bear, a...

the longer the delay of the new KBL construction goes on, it is possible the original KBL may be in use for one more season. at this point, it is pretty obvious the new KBL will NOT open as scheduled in November. (yes, i know... well, DUH!)
