Re: Beer reviews and recommendations
I know its not distributed in the Killington region anymore, but any chances to find cans of Heady Topper to drink this weekend in Killington or Rutland? PM me if you don't want the whole world to know your source. Also, what other places in K or R have good craft beer choices these days? I have re...

Re: Outside Mag: Can Snowboarding Be Saved?
As long as someone is making snowboarding equipment for me to ride on, I will continue riding. Learned to ski growing up and have been boarding for over 20 years, and have no desire to go back to two planks.

Re: Snowboard stolen
Hello everyone... I had my snowboard stolen off my roof racks last night, I know this may be the wrong section but I'm supposed to come up to K this weekend with my girlfriend and now have no board, if anyone has or knows someone who has a board they would be willing to sell it would be greatly app...

Re: Random Holiday Week Observations
Print up a paper list daily and leave them on the bar and tables. If something changes during the day, its just a quick shoutout by the bartender that something was replaced by something else instead of having to memorize and recite the whole list.

Ha, back in the late 90's we used to bribe the lifties with candy bars and joints at Hunna to get on for free.

Re: High peaks, lofty prices
Does anybody pay the walkup window price? Do people just wake up one day and think,"Hey, lets go skiing!", drive to the mountain and pay full retail for everything? Since having kids and a wife that doesn't really enjoy riding/skiing, that's pretty much how I do it. I get so few chances t...

Re: High peaks, lofty prices
You don't have to fly on a jet and buy a $100+ day ticket to ski Aspen. You should be able to take a short drive to an inexpensive local feeder hill. At least in New England, affordable skiing still exists. Most metro areas have ski shops that run bus day trips. Looking at the shop near my summer p...

Re: America’s 100 best beer bars: 2013
The fact that they are missing The Alchemist in Waterbury, McLadden's in Northampton, MA, and Eli Cannon's in Middlebury, CT shows this is nothing more than the equivilent of yet another ski magazine poll on the top 10 ski resorts. Given this is a Killington board, Worthy Burger in South Royalton i...

Re: America’s 100 best beer bars: 2013
I've only been to 12 of these bars - kids have been holding me back in the last 5 years. Need to get back to Chicago soon - the beer scene has changed so much since I was last there just 4 years ago. And f*** Sunset - beer quality is horrible there. Lord Hobo should have been on the list inste...
