Sad news indeed- We always enjoyed late Friday night conversations with Cluade as they were closing up with Bullet and then Millie patrolling the floor.

Re: Killington The Season of more 2018-2019

I am surprised that they do not have marketing materials hyping the changes plastered on the walls in the lodges. They have large crowds this weekend and they are missing the opportunity to get those people excited to come back in 2019.

Re: Good news. New Lifts. Gondi Upgrade.

Kind of hard to make this argument: Killington makes out on them too since they are staying at a Killington resort, eating $18 hamburgers at a Killington village restaurant and eating $5 ice cream. The skiing is the bait to gets you to spend your money at their ski mountain. when you look at the sno...

@Random1- If you haven't eaten at Birch Ridge in the past year, I suggest you give it another try. They have a new chef in the past 18 months. The new guy is bringing creativity and quality that was missing.

Re: Killington Restaurants - Sysco

The infatuation with Choices is because the quality is higher than almost all of the other restaurants. There are only a handful of restaurants on the access road that I would go to in a metropolitan area. Choices and Birch Ridge are two of them. I agree with Mr Moose it may be a bit nostalgic but t...

Re: Sunday, 2/25/18

On the hill from 9-11:30 and not nearly as bad as predicted. Never got higher than Superstar quad so wind was not a factor. Superstar from top to bottom was actually pretty good and Sky Lark and Bittersweet were kind of crunchy but still fun. For a day that I only expected to ski an hour it was actu...
