Re: Wiffletree or Mnt Green??

It was always a difficult proposition to find monthly rentals during spring skiing. In the 1990's and the following decades, the realtors offered seasonal rentals, ski houses and short term options, but not monthly rentals. Mountain Green offered monthly rentals. I cannot express the extreme disappo...

As serious as this matter is, the ski pole comment is funny. Thanks.

Also, in my haste, the copy and paste is redundant. Whoops!

Re: The lift (and lodge) closing schedule is now posted.

It's been removed from the Killington website. I copied and pasted it before it was removed. It was titled Killington 101 under "What's Happening". That is very interesting that it has been removed. As you can see it is dated April 2, 2015.

Killington 101 :: Shifting to Spring Posted by The Beast on April 2, 2015 Just like that, March is in the rear-view and April is here with much of the mountain looking like it’s still mid-winter, especially Mount Superstar. Current base depths on signature spring trails like Skye Lark and Superstar ...

Cassie Reed, drunk driver, mother of two children, blows blood-alcohol level of .157 --. Will this type of poor judgment ever cease?

Re: NSR: Where did you go to school?

I have a degree from the University of Wisconsin, ranked #23. It really was my safety net school, but given that my grandfather, father and brother had undergrad and law degrees from the University of Wisconsin, I enrolled. The diploma is small, comparatively speaking, but hangs on a wall as a remin...

spring passes are beginning to pop up

Namely, Mount Snow's vernal eternal pass as well as Hunter's pass. Killington's 4-play pass, on the other hand, just makes me laugh.

Re: So what's next for Killington Resort?

If the spring pass is viable, meaning profitable, I would hope that Killington would consider this in their business decision making. Last year, Killington's lack of a spring pass propelled other resorts to fill the void, namely Sugarbush.

Thanks. I've been doing this Spring skiing thing for many years-(since college graduation), so I'm pretty well connected. I thought I would just pursue one more avenue in my endeavor to find a place. I appreciate your reply, though.
