Re: Toughest double black in the east?
Don't know of anything in bounds at Jackson Hole that's that tough. Technically speaking you have to sign off before you jump into S @ S so that makes it out of bounds. Your kidding right? First since the thread is for the east I'll definately second Upper Liftline at Smuggs and Goat at Stowe, also...

Yup, It's for folks with dedicated downhill bikes who use the lift. Not to nitpick but it is Coolidge State Forest not a national forest.

Re: Sugarbush might try for a May 16th closing
No question Win is a very unique ski resort owner for even more great reasons not mentioned in this thread. I don't think he would mind that I mention he is getting married this summer to a wonderful lady. Everyone at the Bush is very happy for him.

Re: Sugarbush weekend tips?
The Bush is skiing really nice right now but next weekend...who really knows. If the Bush gets a decent dump this coming week, not really seeing that at this point, then Castlerock and the intermountain lift might open. Castlerock was actually slated to open this week but the warm temps took care of...

Re: The Real Beast of the East Opens Friday
They are one of the few resorts in Vermont that consistently turn a profit. If their demise comes it will have nothing to do with no snowboarders on the hill. You have seen their profit/loss sheet ? Actually they did allow snowboards in the past but their lifts are so old there was a safety issues....

Re: Killington Facebook . . .
The Fan or Friend group page set up by a commercial business is offered by Facebook as a cheap marketing tool. It's not supposed to be like a public forum. I'm not saying it's cool to remove negetive posts but imagine having an ad for your business that can be interactive. Your job is to make the re...

Re: Smith Knowledge OTG Turbo Fan Series Goggles on Tramdock
why do goggles fog up? Iceman has Smith I/O's and they'll fog up on certain days, when mine don't. As Storm mentioned it's the humidity getting in from the sweat we produce. There are several diferent ways it can cause goggle fogging. BTW most name brand goggles nowadays all have an anti-fog treatm...

Re: Smith Knowledge OTG Turbo Fan Series Goggles on Tramdock
We sell 4 OTG's in our shop, Oakley Proven(not even worth mentioning), Scott Storm(the best OTG there is IMHO), Smith Monoshee and the Knowledge OTG. At that 64 bucks it's a fair price but paying $140 for old flat lens technology is crazytown. Keep in mind that the reasons your goggles fog up has no...

So I take a little walk in Winnipeg this morning, heading down Portage Ave. to see where my meeting is later this afternoon, and I find out they have an AHL hockey team here called.........get ready.........the Manitoba Moose. How do I find this out? They have a Moose Store with all sorts of Moose ...

Re: Advice on Radar Detectors
I'm on that road enough that I feel like one of these days I'm going to be in the wrong place at the wrong time doing 63mph and get pulled over. Damn, sounds like you were following me. I once got pulled over in Hoosick for doing 63 in a 55. Didn't get ticketed though. a couple yrs ago before i got...

Re: 2009 - 2010 Season Pass comparison
The Bush has a new Discount Card called the Sugar Direct card that would work great if any of you kmart regulars want to hit the Bush a few times this winter. Here is a link for the details. It's $99 and with the free transferable lift licket you get when you buy it, one trip and the card is paid f...
