Could be. I thought they were the just the developer, but they may be the long-term operator too I guess.

crescent.jpeg I'm still trying to figure out what's going on in this rendering? :? Safdie.JPG One of the recent renderings showed "The Crescent" as having "summer performances" and "winter fire art". Perhaps there is supposed to be some kind of performance space ...

Re: Superstar chair

It can always just be used as a transfer lift. this is literally done at ski areas all over the world The Skyeship can't be used as a transfer lift without a bunch of work. The midstation (which is where you'd want to board for downloading) doesn't have a platform on the download side (and I suspec...

Re: Timing of Killington Forward

As Killington plans for increased summer offerings, Attitash is shutting them down due to lack of interest...for the second year in a row. Thanks to everyone who joined us on the slopes this season! It was great to see so many of you enjoying the mountain and riding the new Mountaineer lift to the s...

Re: "At least for now" Bonus weekend thread

They are open daily thru May 5th. Check the lift ticket sales portal. Easy hack to figure it out. This is also pretty much standard practice when the calendar comes around to it. They weren't going to close just for May 2nd, and they never suggested they would. They have been pretty clear about bei...

Re: "At least for now" Bonus weekend thread

Wish they would've just announced this beforehand. Now everyone was pissed off for nothing. If they were going to pick one lift to run, then K1 serves the most terrain. Not that I'm counting on it, but they have added extra lifts at the last minute in the past. For example, in 2022, it was supposed...

Y'all need to let Mike know your disappointments. He told me nobody ever complains. Saying it here doesn't appear to reach him. Shout it out.

Re: Spring Shrinkage Schedule ?

It's not at all uncommon to have K1 and either Canyon or North Ridge open the last weekend of April. It wasn't uncommon for a long time. That seems to be changing. Last year they went to Supe only on Monday 4/24. I have doubts that they will change their plans this year, of all years. The place is ...

Re: Mountain Green Sales?

I would disagree. The taxes matter even if you are a 2nd or 3rd homeowner. It may not matter for those well inside the top 1%, but it matters to the top 2% to 10% (of the 1 to 2% of ski families that would buy ski real estate in New England) that need to be killingtons market for that village, whet...

Re: 105" in the last 26 days

f*** it, I'm hiding out in the woods, lighting up and putting on dark side of the moon and skiing down in the dark in a full eclipse. That's the plan and I'm sticking with it! Why is K closing early for the eclipse? Because it's supposed to start to getting dark around 2:15. Makes sense. Thanks.

None afaik (and per land record info on Ktown website), they are a rental management company for individual owners.

Re: Mountain Green Sales?

I'll add that the association has manipulated the ownership voting system in favor of securing approval for all voting matters. As is currently written, over 50% of the ownership must vote NO in order to decline a voting matter. They've removed 14% off the top for common areas (as if each owner doe...
