Re: Haven't been here in awhile

No Dis ? What fun is that. Skis are still long and skinny though, right ? Always a fun and interesting board, just got a little scary during the off season from time to time. Haven's skied on the East Coast in five years but might have to do some spring skiing at K so thought I would turn here to fo...

I have not been on the site in awhile nor have I been to K lately. But I am really looking forward to returning in the next couple of weeks and staying in the new mountain side village and riding the interconnect between K and Pico. Other than those two improvements anything else change around here?...

Re: Any cheap cool improvements/changes they could do?

Some customer relations improvements. I know that I have been to places in the past where ski instructors would be at the top of the beginner and/or lower intermediate lifts and offer to ski a run down with a skier and offer a pointer or two to improve their skiing. Felt it was great for custormer r...

Re: What vehicle(s) do you drive?

George Romney, threw his hat in the ring for Pres. interesting guy. A number of years ago I used to follow the buy american car routine, but when the car industry didnt get right the first time the japanese companies kicked their butts, I quit. I just refuse to award big bloated stupidity and the gl...

Re: old school ski accomadations or new world luxury????

I would do the camper if it had a hot tub in it and someone carried my ski's there at the end of every day. That was always Warren Millers claim to fame living in a van or camper all winter at Sun Valley right.

Re: old school ski accomadations or new world luxury????

I will be the wuss. New world luxury. Finished the ski season off with six days at Vail a couple of weeks ago. The last several years my ski time has become limited so I want the experience to be first class. I have to tell you beside the foot of new powder in the back bowls we had on first and last...

Re: The taste of beaver

Taste like possum or muskrat and serve it with a nice Cabernet. If you dont believe me ask Jed, Jethro, Elly Mae or Granny. We had a family of three visit a local lake here they took out 150 trees (albeit some were only saplings but many were mature trees) in the course of a couple of months. Had a ...
