It's nice they finally responded, it shows they are trying, but I don't think there was much new information. I'm really excited about the 7 kinds of burgers at Bear. And Meatloaf!!! Actually, I'm curious about the low energy snow making guns. Does the fact they are low energy mean they need less co...

I've seen them a quite a of times when they've run the Falmouth Road Race. You see a lot of elite runners up close there, but they are in a class by themselves. You'd have to be an emotional zombie not to be moved by them.

Cheezy publicity stunt. But hey, it worked. I looked. Seriously, is that stuff even snow or are they stealing it from behind some hockey rink? Is it that the stuff that comes in a bag? <img src="http://www.mountaincreek.com/NR/rdonlyres/CECC9954-F02A-4E6C-A521-E3450A651D34/0/093006_snowpickuplp...

I figured I'd be "scientific" about this. Opening days for the last 36 years: Season: Opening Day: 2005/2006 29-Oct (I know, I know...) 2004/2005 9-Nov 2003/2004 10-Nov 2002/2003 25-Oct 2001/2002 6-Nov 2000/2001 29-Oct 1999/2000 25-Oct 1998/1999 22-Oct 1997/1998 1-Oct 1996/1997 4-Oct 1995/...

This sounds like it would end up being real close to our condo development. It would be interesting to ski home from there one day. The only problem would be having to get a ride back to Pico to pick up the vehicle we drove over to begin with.
Take the bus over. Ski back whenever.

I hiked up it this summer. ASC spent a lot of money building this trail, they carved it out of the ridge in places and used it to fill others so it would be downhill all the way. Seems like a good way to get back to Ramshead from Pico. You can get to it from the summit glades (skier right) or go dow...

Picked up several Attitash passes at K- on Friday afternoon. (M) and (S), so they hadn't gotten that far yet. I asked the woman at the desk if they would have the Killington or Attitash logo. She didn't know. Turns out it's K.

Historical Stats:
1991-92: 198" snow, Strong El Nino
1992-93: 300" snow, El Niño
1994-95: 182" snow, El Niño
1997-98: 242" snow, Strong El Niño
2002-03: 291" snow, El Niño

I'd like the 92-93 or 02-03 versions; hold the 94-95.
