Deal with it.

Many of the subtopics in this category are so full of wishy-wash complaints and observations, it's like a bunch of babies that want their bottle warmed. I've skied this mountain for >40 years, have paved more verticle here than dozens of you combined, and it's been my experience, and likely shared b...

Re: What's Really Going On?

Happy New Year ! Powdr got lucky last year with the weather and everything else. Since I'm blacked-out, haven't skied in 2 weeks... but i know ( from talking with others ) I haven't missed anything. The $$ must have gone into the Stash, which, expert boarders have told me is just 'so-so'... Lot of m...

Weather chart looks like there's another potential bailout storm fringed
for the Killington Basin.

Fortunately, looks like the high moisture content variety storm, which is
precisely what will be needed now to restore the surface conditions.

Everyone needs to light a Prayer Candle.

Mt Baker Dude

Gee...that's nice...and Baker IS PRIMO...but,

How much is plane fare to Mt. Baker?
Dude, once you get to Seattle/Spokane, you still have
to drive (or dogsled) several hours to get there.

A $44 lift ticket can be deceptive.
As to a $92 ticket at Vail, PT Barnum is smiling !

Me thinks...You're in the wrong forum to pose that question. None of these replies are from any source with a well-guided response. Powdr Corp's history speaks for itself. Look at what they did to Bachelor and then consider the rinky-dink resorts they have in Reno and Vegas. Their stated business ph...

Whasup with all the roofing?

December might not be the optimal month to re-roof KBase lodge...duh? (maybe they plan to move the pallets from the roof of Inn of 6 Mtn before they get fully buried for the winter. Most of the layoffs must have been in the forward planning department. None-the-less...Mother nature sure is giving us...
