Re: Opening Day?
Reflecting back 29 October 2016 - Day started with the K1 gondola on hold for most of the morning. We started to hike up the mountain on the chance that the Northridge chair would run. Snowmoblies hauling the lift operators pasted us on Great Northern. Handful of thrilled skiers had the Northridge l...

Re: It’s that time of year…
Been a few years without lift serviced Oct turns. This season may break the trend.

Re: What trail is this at Killington?
Half the trail is normally groomed as they use the trail to move groomers between the resorts. The snowmobile tour company use that trail to get top of Pico. Hammering snowmobiles around Killington after hours is a blast. Highly recommended.

Buddy - The Dog Mayor of Killington
The Killington ski community mourns the loss of Buddy as he crossed the rainbow bridge this past Monday. Ronzoni set up a memorial at the 802 Bus at the cooler concert on Saturday to pay tribute to a 4 legged Killington legend. A true free range dog Buddy has been greeting Killington skiers every mo...

Re: How Many Days 22/23

Snagged a 100 club hat for the eleventh year in a row. Wrapped up the season at Mammoth on May 31st. Killington 107 Mammoth 3 Palisades Tahoe 2 Alpine ...

Re: friday 3/24 report
Those skis look short. I use short shaped skis (172cm) for the versatility. I'm 6'1" My buddy is a level 3 and one of the most balanced skiers I know. Ability to mix up skis under various conditions is what I call fun. He was on some 99 DPS Wailers later. Proved that both skis could be submari...

Re: Superstar 2023
Snowmaking ran until March 30th last year.
Better year was 2021 with the big mounds on Feb 11th.
We get what we get with help from the snowmakers.
