They've been subsidized by tax breaks and government regs, but nobody is being forced to buy them (yet) and people are buying them now even when they are ...

These days does everyone ride the lifts up and then mountain bike down, unlike long ago when mountain biking started and you had to peddle up the mountain and earn your down hill turns? If you still pedal uphill at K, is it free or do you have to buy a pass?

Screenshot from the Killington web site shows a trail all the way to the right? Looks like it starts on the access road and goes to another trail I presume is the connector trail to Pico? Does that trail have a name-where is the trailhead and any other info?

I read the mountain report today and I didn't know there's an Umbrella Bar at Snowshed? Is it the same type as the one the bottom of Superstar? Is there music, what's the vibe like, crowd? Any photos out there?
