Twiggy and Skiable last Thursday when we made some first time this year turns down the trail whose name is never spoken. Sweet turns were found on the back of new lodge cistern.

Re: Monday 2/27 Report

The Mrs Fields buttery death cookies on Lower Sup won the weirdest surface of the day award. You would expect that death cookie crunch but they broke apart like butter.

Monday 2/27 Report

Best day of the month so far. Tomorrow may be better. Nice winter snow cycle has set in. Groomed Downdraft headwall was a surprise. Cascade headwall was better with a full powder coat. Double dipper was simply dreamy. Decapitator was our favorite from the day. Quote of the Day- Are we too old to be ...

Re: The snow report is useless

Finally stopped in the K1 bar Saturday. Noticed that the bar menus dropped a decade off Killington's history. Asked Mike at the bar and he said the I was the first one to notice. Has anyone else picked up on this? Hard to imagine that I am only one paying attention .

Re: Perception or Reality?

Perception- Skiing Killington is just as dangerous as it always was. Most injuries are bodies impacting a solid snow surface. Amount of steel on the mountain in the parks helps to support the injury rate. Same number of bad skiers as there always has been. As I age feel like less a projectile and mo...

Doubt your sincerity. Your buddy Spike was crying in his beer at the KPAA meeting last Thursday. Go West old man if it makes you happy. Please don't piss our positive vibe.

Re: Killington Forward hearing draws a crowd

The current paid parking rarely fills up, so to me that makes it unlikely that it would be expanded to cover more of the K1 lot. Stratton didn't make the sun bowl paid when they built their village. Took photos of Bay 2 paid parking at 10AM this past holiday Sat/Sun Holiday weekend. Parking was 2/3...

Re: Of course it's IKON

Don’t recall a paid for Bay 1 back in the ASC days. The Bay 1 pass was $199 back in the ASC day. Your memory is foggy. Bay 1 has been weekend paid parking for a couple decades. The number of weekends the pass is good for has grown over the years. Love the fact that the parking lot contractors guard...

You silly skiers wanting to develop our beautiful little state. We have fifty years of laws controlling and discouraging development. This problem if it is one is by design. The community planners got this correct years ago. Good luck getting us Vermonters to change.

Rushed back from the tropics when I heard the cold weather was returning. Rewarded with some of finest below zero skiing. Having the box and bubble is almost like cheating.

Re: Biden Presidency

During my six years in the Navy handled reams of classified documents. The military take on handling of this material is taken very seriously. Punishment for violations was real. Our elected officials leak this privilged information to the press, careless store and handle for their benefit. People i...

Face down recovery for the first week following surgery. They leave a gas bubble in your eye to allow healing. Rented a special chair to help with the process. It has been long four weeks without skiing. Had to cancel flying and scuba plans as pressure changes to the eye are painful. Thankfully shou...

Skied Hogback in the late 70’s for $8. Surface lifts only. I’m not even a dinosaur yet.
