Re: Expansion

These last several snows were the heavy dense kind. Any chance they could just groom out header or easy street without snowmaking? Not sure what kind of depth they'd prefer to have before using the tiller on the groomer. Upper parts of header they probably could but not enough snow towards the bott...

Re: Poaching

https://recruiting.adp.com/srccar/public/RTI.home?c=1203501&d=Killington&r=5000996266806 Are these people going to politely ask the out of control skiers to slow down? Or will they pull passes ? Poaching the Poaching thread with other complaints is a whole different type of rope ducking. Ap...

Re: Poaching

List of locals that we know sitting on the sidelines for two weeks is growing. Perfect snow for poaching but a steep price to pay.

Lower East Fall is still void of snow. Hopefully they will make a push toward the Canyon Quad soon.

Re: $16+ for a beer?

The everyday crowd in Bay one boot up at the car like real skiers do. Lodge underwear prancers have been around for decades. Another reason to stay clear of the lodge. Judging the behavior of the customer base is one way to pass the hours of your workday.

Re: Expansion

Let the crowd go elsewhere and I will be happy. Haven't stood in a lift line for more than a minute or two for decades. Ikon is making sure that our lifts are now running fully loaded. You people want to make our home too popular to the tourist crowd.

Hey There, Beast Fans. Looks like a win for the Kzone getting the resort to drop the "Howdy". Take your small victory and be happy.

Jay was doing a great job keeping the line moving. When he took a break they had another J1 worker that was overwhelmed by the math sending up quite of few empty chairs. Controlling a lift line is a skilled job.

Re: $16+ for a beer?

Price for a Fiddlehead was $13 at the Peak Lodge Today. If you add a 25% tip ($3.25) then the price of a beer is $16.25. Life is not cheap.

Re: fast track pricing

We have been paying Killington for years to guard our Bay 1 parking spot from the riff raff. Love front row parking and head of the line short cuts. Being a Jaded Local has its rewards. Controlling the seating at the end of the Peak Bar is the last free activity. Some on here may be tempted to buy a...
