Re: Can the Republican Party Be Saved?
That's pretty wild, isn't it? I remember a few years ago when right-wingers on this forum kept harping on liberal media bias. Whatever liberal media bias there may have been with the "mainstream media" it doesn't hold a candle to the bias of the right-wing media- it's not even in the same...

Re: State fo VT seeks answers to solving the housing crisis.
I can well afford my ski bum lifestyle, I live in a single family house that I own on 10 acres, with two garages full of toys 12 miles from the mountain , my point was that Rutland is a sh-t hole not this great place 20 minutes away sh*t hole is a bit harsh - its not some resort town, but its a rea...

Re: State fo VT seeks answers to solving the housing crisis.
Try to buy socks at Walmart in Rutland , you have to get a store employee to unlock the case that they are stored in because people are steeling them so much , that’s not like “ every other Walmart “ Its like every other walmart. https://nypost.com/2023/10/27/business/shoppers-waiting-up-to-40-minu...

Re: Expansion
Without Bear next week parking would be a total mess. Think so? The last few seasons the IKON blackout dates have seen much less traffic than non-blackout dates. With the lack of snow and cold temps in favor of lotsa r*in in the northeast, I think the resort has a much lighter crowd than usual comi...
Re: Expansion
Everyone is guilty of it. If it were me, when done with Snowshed in the Basin I would switch that capacity to Rams Head and something else on Snowdon and finish Bitter pick your order. I would simultaneously place my Bear resources into Skye Claw as they seem poised to do. Then Middle GE to Bearly ...

Re: The Freerider
I think most of the main places on the access road in general give a reasonably good product - Rivershed and Sushi Yoshi are are most frequented… although we too tend to eat in most of the time (especially in the heart of the season) - saves money and avoids the crowds. Yeah that's the problem - I'...

Re: The Freerider
Access road restaurant pricing has gone way up without delivering a very good product. I would describe 95% of the restaurants on the access road to be average at best in terms of meal quality. My crew is dining in more and more as it's become much harder to justify spending a lot on such mediocre ...

Re: The Freerider
Going out to eat in Killington is pricey for sure - a quick scan of online menus - Rivershed and Charities wings are $16, Caseys Caboose is $17, Jax and Lookout come in the lowest at $15 - so $18 does not seem super out of line with the competition.
I'll give them a try sometime.

Re: Tuesday, Dec 19–After the Deluge
Upper Bunny and Mouse Trap surprisingly good at the bell. Quite a few guns going on Snowdon. Temps in upper 20s. Groomers did a good job last night considering. So why is the K App showing Bunny and Mouse Trap CLOSED. I'm getting tired bitching about their inability to keep this info updated. It's ...
