Windy or ice?

Post by daytripper »

Noaa reports 15-25 mph winds. Many lifts on hold this morning. Why dont they ever say what the lifts are on hold for? 15-25 does not seem like much or did it ice up last night? K please include the reason that lifts are on hold in your report.

Killlington got us on a good April Fool joke!! I went out and asked a lifty at the Sky Peak Quad at 8:30 about the hold when the lift was running and he said because of the grooming hold. We came out at 8:55 and he said April Fools! They got me, good one Mike!

Yes it was windy with the summit high temp 3 degrees cooler than yesterday no fooling. Snow surface never really got soft with icy turns the norm. Good hockey skater would have felt at home on Vertigo today.
