Total 192 perfect attendance during lift served skiing. 182 days consecutive. It was a goal I set back on Labor Day 2014. At the time I weighed 240. Went on a fitness program designed by a freind (thanks Wendy) and quit all drinking until Thanksgiving. End of season 184 and still working towards 170. I feel great and am looking forward to kayaking , hiking, fishing, and maybe getting back on the bike (peddle). Hope everyone had as great a season as I did. The social aspect of hooking up with other Zoners (and strangers) and the times at the Peak with Katie, Pam, Tommy Tuesday, Cat, Julie and the rest if the crew made it twice as great. The guys at KBL and UBars at the end if the season, Glen,Mike (my favorite :-)),Patrick, Bill, Dave, Matt was icing on the cake. Big shoutout to Linda & Pattie at Bear....a lot of times at end of day it was me them and the crickets. They always had a beer ready even at last call.

I've been skiing Killington since 1976 and this was the best year overall.

Next season....all I can say is if the Beast wants a piece of me.....I say BRING IT.

I was hoping I would make 60 days but it was not meant to be. if I hike on Sunday then I will get 59 days - we will see if that is even possible.

5/30/15 10:40 - 11:30 Hiked up lower Superstar with Madvillian. No breaks from pylon 5 to the bottom.
Temp 73d, breezy enough to keep the flies at bay. Snow firm with that coral like surface.
Probably my last day considering the forecast.

Tied with last year at 132.

Well I didn't even come close to my goal of 70 days or even my last years days of 65. The rib injury mid season didn't help. I believe I totaled 52 days this year. Mostly at K, but a few at Pico and the best days by far were earned back country.
My only goal for next season, other than no sidelining injuries, is as many days in the back and side country as possible. Let's hope for a big snow year and continuous sub freezing temperatures for next season.
Until then enjoy the green mountains in their native color. I'll be all up in them as often as I can and out of the flatlands as much as possible.

Have a safe and happy off season all!

140 Days for myself with the wife hitting 151 Days. Staying healthly for the season is the key to hitting triple digits. Less than five months to go if we get an October start for the next season.

Getting to triple digits you also have to be local or residing there during the ski season. One day I hope that will be me but for now I have to be content with skiing whenever I can and, of course, staying healthy is also the key to accumulating ski days.
