Thanks to the great work of our Mountain Ops team, we have decided to open for skiing and riding today, Thursday October 24 at 1:30 p.m. This early opening is exclusively for Season Pass and Express Card holders.
If you haven’t picked up your Season Pass or Express Card yet, head to K-1 Guest Services to grab a ticket for the afternoon.
If you can’t make it today, don’t worry, we’ve got the official 2nd Annual Season Pass and Express Card holder Appreciation Day still scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, October 25, 2013.
For Friday, look for fun giveaways throughout the base area (limited quantity), complimentary lunch served from 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. including choice of hamburger, chicken sandwich or hot dog and fountain drink at K-1 Café.
Plus celebrate the kick off to the longest season in the East with an après-party at Mahogany Ridge including drink specials, live music with Joey Leone from 12:30-3:30 p.m. and raffle prizes.

Nice work! Just went on the SR site, no sign of them opening, so First in the East goes to Killington. And yeah, it matters, but only because it was such a big deal to them all those years. Road trip, otherwise I'd totally be there. Congratulations to Jeff and Mike, way to make it happen.

I picked up my skis at First Stop around 11AM and heard there was a possibility that they would open today. Damn I should have kept a eye on the web site. Oh we'll, ready to rock and roll for tomorrow.
