Morning rumination ended as we headed to the mountain for a cloudy start to the ski day. A few blowing guns were going only on the top of Great Northern as things are turning colder yet again. Down to the Heavenly Reverse walkway we headed reminiscing about the conditions we had after the last storm just a week before. Soft groomed snow quickly was pushed into nicely spaced piles by the talented Friday morning crew. Rime or Reason, left or right, A or B was the choice as they are only survivors of the last warm spell. Watching the pods of racers training helped to pass the time on the lift. Sun worked it’s way thru the clouds before noon making for great visibility. Headed out knowing that full bore snow making will be on tap for tomorrow.
Early Season Grade B-
Quote of the Day – Every fall ski day seems to be really different than the last one.
