tuesday 1/10/17 report

Post by skiadikt »

very pleasant day out there. much warmer. hit the canyon runs first. nicely groomed. a day late to the party on highline. grooming was styrofoamy and the ungroomed had stiffened a bit. supe & bear runs skied well. other than dreammaker > cruise didn't do any work in needles due to race training. later heard they were making snow on lower vertigo. after lunch concentrated on the snowdon & dipper woods. could use snow but not bad. add scarecrow to the tree runs they've ruined.

Wind made it feel a lot colder than the mid to upper teens and certainly played with the snow cover in some areas. Still, everything was edgeable or better. Hit up runs on Rams, Snowdon, the Glades, Bear and finished up with a pretty decent Bittersweet before trekking back down to the Vale lot and home.
