thursday 1/19/17 report
warmish, foggy day out there. new snow folded in beautifully. possibly the best groomed conditions of the season on trails like skyeburst, bear claw & bitter. opened on breakaway which felt a bit on the heavy side. ovation rotd deserving of an encore. right side of ol skiing well. thimble in good shape and north star has yet to be trashed. upper mtn trees skiing well.
spoiled South American skiin' whore

Vertigo was the best kept secret. Needles closed for ski racing...but when it opened there was untracked powder there and lots of it! The huge wales on the left where they blew snow a week or so ago were fun with the nice coating. Apparently there was a little snow last night, because V skied even nicer today than yesterday

Yup, Tuesday wasn't as good. We will see what next Tuesday brings. Hopefully something.
