Great last 2 days at the big K

Post by GSKI »

Hit all the runs looking to go extinct for the year shortly. Bluebird yesterday with ideal winter conditions. Downdraft was fantastic with the 2-3 inches from Wednesday. Stichline was nice even got a nice run on Conclusion. Northstar was great. Thimble to lower Vertigo was fine with the exception of the rock garden as you approached the old snowshed crossover. They even opened Dreammaker headwall today and groomed and blew some snow on lower Ovation. Jug to lower Breakaway was a nice run doing the tired legs loop to bear and back to the K1 for another. All of that is thin with the exception of Northstar which might hold up to some beating. Started (r)aining as I was leaving at 3:15. The weather is a mixed bag for sure for the next week. Hope some of those classic runs hold up for next week.

Hope there is something to hike to this spring.
