So did I miss the report of winter improvements this summer? Or is it safe to say all we are getting is mulch? Why wait to next year to give us back a lift on South ridge?

With the removal of the Mickey Mouse turn and mid station the Fridge area of South Ridge will be much more bearable.

But still no real winter improvements this year, how long has it been since they half finished the peak lodge? Gotta be 5 years, and they didn't even build the whole thing!

Just the infringement into Bay 2 towards Snowdon.

They used to only do bay 1 - but they expanded it quite a bit on Feb and March Saturdays last year.

I re-learned the park in vale - ride the bus to the Supe lift - and start from there. It beats riding up Snowdon first run...

K1 is first run on Powder Days only for me...

Killington is in need of a lot of upgrades. One reason why I've hit my wall with east coast skiing. The only times I ski the east now is if one of my kids wants to go, otherwise I would much rather be out in the woods on the VAST trails exploring the back county.

I've found some nice stuff in the old town down the church road.

Aren't they going to screw up more of the woods on Ramshead with more bike trails?

Mulch has already been spread. Same great Killington terrain not changing much. Given the two gondolas, two HSQ’s and half dozen other slow lifts that I normally use encompasses every resource needed to get anywhere that I desire. You can add whip cream with cherries on top but since I'm a meat and potatoes guy it may not improve the taste. Rarely stand in a lift line and had slope side parking for all 142 of my ski days. I’m as happy as a beer lover sitting in a barrel of hops.

Improvements are a diversion of resources that would be better spent on this^^.

^^ That's a cool picture.

Has Killington announced what's going to be installed next summer for a new SRT :?:

Sunday River is replacing the Spruce Chair with a Doppelmayr fixed triple with a loading carpet this summer.

Both lifts kind of serve the same purpose; upper mountain lower volume. I love Spruce peak.
