Can you please post specific instances when officers were shot at.

Or is this just more babble.

From a Facebook post:

From May 22nd to June 4th the Killington Police Department will be engaging in a coordinated effort with the other police agencies throughout Rutland County to crack down on motorists who aren’t wearing their seat belts. This coordinated effort occurs annually during this time of year and is known as Click it or Ticket. Click It or Ticket isn’t about the citations; it’s about saving lives. In 2015, there were 9,874 unbuckled passenger vehicle occupants killed in crashes in the United States. In Vermont, in 2016, approximately 50% of the 64 fatal crash victims were not restrained at the time of the crash. To help prevent crash fatalities, law enforcement will be increasing enforcement to crack down on those who don’t wear their seat belts. This coordinated effort is grant funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Vermont Governor’s Highway Safety Program.

Additionally, recent crash report data has suggested that in recent years, Killington Road and US Route 4 have seen an increase in speed and alcohol related crashes. Because of these increases, you will see more targeted and high-visibility enforcement along these roads in the near future.

The other police agencies participating in this coordinated enforcement include the Brandon Police Department, Castleton Police Department, Fair Haven Police Department, Poultney Constable, Rutland City Police Department and the Rutland County Sheriff's Office

It's not about the citations..........classic.

So are they saying there's more DUI today at Killington than 25 years ago?? or they've seen a recent rash of accidents.
