Snow pack is holding up well even with temps in the mid 80’s today. Friend coming off the hike reported a wind dried moon scape surface at 6 this evening. Should get softer tomorrow with some stellar skiing on tap for the weekend.

There will be no grooming taking place again this weekend in order to preserve the snowpack with our eyes set on June skiing and riding. This means we won't be pushing snow into the load and unload of the Superstar Express Quad - skiers and riders will be required to walk-on/off the lift and carry their equipment for the ride up.

After this weekend its junk! That heat from this week does not suddenly stop the melting it just keeps going for days. Next weekend will be ceremonial which they will probably do anyway. This is the last likely unbroken one. They will push it around a bit but once there is a breach in the base its over quick.

I've done it a million times and I'm sure you have too - it's not so bad as long as the skiing in between is solid which it definitely will be... see you in the bumps!
