What activities do you participate in during the summer?

Post by tyrolean_skier »

Since the mountain has officially closed, I though it would be nice to share with fellow zoners things to do in the summer.

I can't do much right now because I am recuperating from surgery. However, I hope to go out on the boat if weather cooperates and as soon as I can will start gardening. Luckily I planted all my vegetables before surgery but the flower bed needs weeding and more flowers planted. I also enjoy walking along the beach and at our local preserve.

My 2nd favorite "sport", throwing a frisbee at York Beach Maine (Long Sands, end of Beacon st...come on by, cold beer at my feet, ocean waves, bikinis...)

Trying to annoy all cars by biking 100+ miles a week to loose all the weight I gained during ski season.

3 feet please.

Golf, winsurfing, and of course working on the houses.

New for this year will be kayaking / fishing.

Also, not sure if it qualifies for a 'sport' but RETIREMENT is coming soon !!
