Off the beaten path for a Squam Lake swim #4 at a beach and boat ramp on High Haith Road in Center Harbor-Windsor Island. This is the remote and quiet end of the lake, the lake homes are few and far apart here. Nice sandy bottom, crystal clear water to swim to the point on the right about 150 yards, then there's another point after that in another 150 yards, then another. This keeps you close to the rocky shore that speed boats will stay away from to allow a nice and safe open water swim. There's a sign here: "Center Harbor Residents Only" that I ignore. Hardly anyone goes here. The white mouse arrow in the satellite image points to the location. Yes, there are picnic tables here too.

Decisions? Why limit yourself, do it all. I'm going to have to crash that location on one of my swims. Where is it?

The ocean water along the New Hampshire coast and beaches is now warm enough for swimming. A refreshing 61 degrees for my first ocean swim of the summer, very southern end of Hampton Beach State Park, down by the RV camp ground.

We recently upgraded to a larger boat. We still have not changed the name on it and have only done one outing so far. The new name for it will be Serenity Now II. We previously had a boat named Serenity Now for many years which we sold because we had many summers that we were not boating much because we were driving to or picking up our kids from ramp camps and adventure camps. Our smaller boat is now for sale. Here is a picture Skidork took of the new boat:

The most important one:
A summer training program for next skis season.

They say the Tour de France is won in November. I like to think the next ski season begins in August with shops getting new inventory and the first pre season sales. It's also time to start getting into ski shape - less than 80 days to go!
I spend a little time on the mountain, spend a little time on the hill.
