Oh my gawd, the "cute meter" just exploded :wink:

Can't wait to see others . . . not only pups peeps - know some of you have awesome growing or older pups 8)

He's an australian shepherd from Arizona. His parents were cattle dogs. In his prime, he was a great athlete. Running full speed he could catch a tennis ball thrown anywhere near him. Swam like a beaver.

Not sure what he is. We rescued him in Texas as a pup. Either an Akbash Dog or a Great Pyrenees Lab mix. Whatever he is he is an awesome dog.

Per earlier question in Casey's' post, Lucy is a Pug / Shar Pei mix. The fancy name is "Ori Pei" but she's really just a good ol' mutt :)

In thinking over my lifetime of dogs, of the 8 dogs I lived with, 5 were 'best' dogs, 2 were lovingly average, and one was a harmless clunker.

Currently on a 'best' dog. However even the harmless clunker was better than no dog.
