Improved snowmaking and grooming is a good thing. A good part of my season is about following the guns and enjoying the creamy snow that they put down. I heard they removed the low energy guns off of lower Ovation because they weren't throwing the snow across the slope.

I am a little concerned that the article refers to the new South Ridge chair as "proposed".

Yes, a South Ridge chair is only a proposal until someone signs a contract with a completion date on it. I pray that nothing negative happens at other POWDR areas this winter that might deflect South Ridge chair funds to something else out west.

I like the part about upgrading or improving certain lift equipment. I would assume this all points towards reducing or eliminating the frequent stoppages on those lifts mentioned. I am thinking positive thoughts right now, the wheels are in motion to improve customer satisfaction.

Let's see if they wait until November to finish work on the Snowdon Cripple. Nothing like working on lift towers in sub-freezing temperatures and loading the haul rope with skiers to contend with.

"As design and pricing is ongoing for a proposed new South Ridge lift for 2018/19."

I can only hope they can make this happen by Xmas 2018.

Keep your fingers and toes crossed.

You guys are making me nervous....
2014 - "A South Ridge trail is Pipe Dream. A South Ridge lift shouldn't be."
2019 - "A South Ridge trail is Pipe Dream. A South Ridge lift (operating midweek) shouldn't be."
2023 - Killington announces that the South Ridge lift will run five days a week.
2024 - Killington lied.

Snowmaking pond at pico seems like it was a needed project. Kudos to them for that!

C'mon, the biggest ski improvement this year is the removal of the 2nd week of May killer ridge that was hallway down lower Supe. Should make a noticeable difference next Spring.

Don't forget the line stripping on the access road to Bear as an improvement.
