FWIW: I dont think there were many "Killington" skiers at Mount Snow this weekend.

I was there Sunday and the caliber of skiing wasn't what I would expect from K skiers. For example, the completely empty North Face run.

Killington gets mobbed early season by people to the south IF they are the only mountain open. Killington had very few people this weekend BECAUSE Mt. Snow and others were open with far more to offer. PERIOD.

I'd think for the most part passholders this early would stick to their home mountain once it's open. Very few Killington passholders would've gone to Mount Snow or Okemo. The only exception would be Killington passholders with the Max Pass add on who might've gone to Okemo.

One who wasn't a passholder at any of the three mountains would decide where to go based on a number of factors, those being cost, driving distance, and terrain. Okemo was charging 65 dollars for 1 lift 1 trail, so it was basically just passholders and max pass visits when I went there. Mount Snow I think was a bit less, and having the most open they would've been the most crowded. If you had a early season BOGO for K, it would've been the cheapest, but I would think hardly anyone would chose to go there with the stairs when Okemo and Mount Snow were top to bottom.

So let me get this straight. You're implying Killington skiers are better Mt. Snow skiers? What about their snowboarders?

I would expect a stoopid comment like this from Dorsal, butt not you. Prepare for a back-o'-hand smack.

Skinut Dave, out.
