Moments ago, Vail Resorts released its first quarter 2018 financial results which include guidance on next year’s capital improvements to the tune of $150 million. As I speculated it might, Broomfield, Colorado-based Vail is going all in on new lifts next year, with $52 million (CAD$66 million) going to Whistler Blackcomb alone.

Complaints about 'starting the day saturated' must have filled the suggestion box last couple years
Of course, once you get to the BC Alpine, it's as good as anything in North America.
We got 44" tato in 2 days last year up high .. almost 4" slop in the Valley.
Will miss the Solar Coaster.
Vail likely had to wait on the Mansfield lift investment until they 'buy-off' Montpelier for the Mountain Rd expansion.
